传统汉族舞蹈《踏歌》Ta Ge-Tang Dynasty

君若天上云，侬似云中鸟。
相随相依，映日御风。

君若湖中水，侬似水心花。
相亲相恋，与月弄影。

人间缘何聚散，人间何有悲欢？
但愿与君长相守，莫作昙花一现。
If my lord you are the cloud, then I am the bird in the sky (clouds),
Both of us side by side, basking in the sunshine & wind.

If my lord you are the water in the lake, then I am the lotus flower in the water,
Loving each other, basking in the moonlight and shadows.

Why do fate (love) begins & ends in the world?
Why are there happiness & sadness in the world?

May (wish) I can be with my lord forever,
Even if I missed to be the flower that blossoms in the water for that moment..."

This Tang dynasty musical dance made me moved while I was watching live at the Xian Restaurant. I have been looking for it since I came back from China in June.

Once love that quivered inside my heart,
Now, was colder than your kiss,
That you sealed on my lips,
Before saying goodbye to me.

Once vows like the harp-strings,
That tied you and me, were broken,
When a note was forced to play,
That was beyond its power.

Once memories that dwelt in my heart,
Were vanished away,
By the present memories,
Like the age took away the youth.

Once Love, vows and memories,
Like a fire singing in the gold,
Were sweet beyond imagining,
Had gone away with times.
