Our Lady,My Hero-Daw Aung San Suu Kyi-昂山素姬

Our Lady, My Hero
Our Lady under house arrest,
Petite with mental might,
Our Lady with huge tasks,
Keep up this democratic fight.

Our Lady being locked up in Jail,
Dignity under pressure in tow,
Our Lady with conviction in tack,
Face up this injustice with grace.

Our Lady, Our Captain,
Her Love and Courage will not be cowed.
Our Lady will never bow.
She’ll be happy 64.

A New Day

Come on, wake up
Sleeping angel,
Beautiful morning has come.
The sun rises in the east,
A new day is here.

Come on, wake up.
Do not worry a thing,
I am here. You are there.
Our hearts beat as one.
Everything is going to be alright.

Come on, wake up.
The birds are singing,
When the quake and rain stop,
No dust and cloud in the sky,
No more sigh, no more cry.

Come on, wake up.
Sweet Angel,
Are you feeling lonesome?
We will meet in our dreams.
No tears, no more tears.

Come on, wake up.
My little darling,
Are you crying in sleep?
I will try to make up.
No lies. No tears.

Love Of Home

Love of Home
My thoughts of kind
Home had jammed up
In my mind,
As the train sped up.

Left-by hazy mountains,
Paddy fields and green trees,
Coming along with the ever yearning,
Memories of my dear, thee.

The fresh wind,
Is not like in the downtown,
Caresses my face while my mind,
Drifted to my home town.

Many fields are full of green,
And filled with water,
Working farmers in the green,
As my longing thoughts nested in my heart center.

Though my feet walked out of home,
My heart remained at home.
Now, I deeply understand the love of home,
And home sweet home.
