Song Of Hope By Thomas Hardy

SONG OF HOPE
O sweet To-morrow! -
After to-day
There will away
This sense of sorrow.
Then let us borrow
Hope, for a gleaming
Soon will be streaming,
Dimmed by no gray -
No gray!

While the winds wing us
Sighs from The Gone,
Nearer to dawn
Minute-beats bring us;
When there will sing us
Larks of a glory
Waiting our story
Further anon -
Anon!

Doff the black token,
Don the red shoon,
Right and retune
Viol-strings broken;
Null the words spoken
In speeches of rueing,
The night cloud is hueing,
To-morrow shines soon -
Shines soon!

Invictus By William Ernest Henley

Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
I am dedicating this poem to my cousin, Josie (SaiKyi). We all will be saying prayers for quick recovery. We love you and our hearts and thoughts will be with you. Cheer up!!!!

Risk-Only A Person Who Risks Is Truely Free

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to another is to risk involvement.
To expose your feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before a crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.
To believe is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.
But risks must be taken,
Because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
But he cannot learn, he cannot feel, he cannot change,
He cannot grow, he cannot love, he cannot live.
Chained by his certitudes, he is slave.
Only a person who risks is truly free.

Mr Shameless Chen Shui Bian-陳水扁- (A Bian)

A shameless and corrupt former president Mr. Chen Shui Bian and his gangs are still roaming freely. Their days of freedom are numbered. Finally, the rules of law and good people of Republic of China (Taiwan, ROC) will catch up with their tricks and stolen funds from the Republic. D.P.P, Democratic Progressive Party (Chen’s party) and his die-hard supporters always maintain that “A Bian is innocent”. Mr. Chen Shui Bian and his gangs still maintain their innocents, and the transferred sums in Chen’s overseas accounts are treasury for Taiwan Independence. By now, most of his former or current supporters should wake up from his lies and hoaxes. His pro independence stand for Taiwan and pushing for Republic of Taiwan are pretext for his corrupt endeavors. Mr. Chen, his gangs of family and friends love money. They love MONEY, NOT TAIWAN.

I believe, Republic of China (Taiwan, ROC) will come across from this scandalous episode and economic slow downs. I also believe in President Ma and his cabinets to achieve their goals and good policies. We must trust them to steer away from these current bad atmospheres.

Peaceful Love

Peaceful Love
The flowers of the valley may wither.
The pleasure of lovers may fade away.
But, the love of parents will blossom forever.
Though other flowers and pleasure may decay.

The sun may go down,
When the night comes.
But, the love of parents will never be up and down,
With a changing time.

The gang of seas may dry up,
And the iron may melt in high heat.
But, the love of parents will never be used up,
As always keep us in warmth and peace.

Love Is So Near

Love Is So Near

Lying on the grassy hill,
Holding my face up the bright sky,
Gazing at the moon,
Her beautiful face appears on the surface.

Sitting by the weeping willow,
Thinking of her sweet persona,
Yearning is as long as willow leaves,
I’m feeling void without her.

Separate by seas, oceans, plains and hills,
She is miles and miles away,
Yet, love is so near in our hearts,
Sleep tight through the night.

Let’s meet in our dreams and thoughts,
Light a candle for our Buddha Lord,
Pray, my love be back soon and sound,
Loving her for thousand years long.
